#2,728: Cinnamon Sugar Apples

I was looking for an easy side dish to serve the many kiddos during our 4th of July family weekend and came across this recipe.  It was a huge hit with our crew (who doesn't love sugar on their fruit though?!) and we ended up making it twice.  I cut back on the cinnamon-sugar mixture to give it flavor but not be ridiculously unhealthy.  We will definitely be making this again with our crew.

4 apples, sliced and cut into one inch pieces
2 tsp lemon juices
3-4 tsp cinnamon sugar. (I mix 1 tsp cinnamon and 1 tbsp sugar) just sprinkle it on a little at a time and toss until all the apples have a light coating.

NOTE: Do not make this ahead of time. It should be made right before serving.

Place sliced apples in a medium sized mixing bowl.  Sprinkle with lemon juice.  Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar one tsp at a time and toss until apples are all lightly coated.
