PottyCover - Disposable Toilet Seat Covers For Kids Review and Giveaway

Having 3 kids ages 5 and under requires a lot of bathroom breaks in public restrooms.  If you've ever been in a stall near me you would have heard me repeatedly say, "Hand on your knees!  Do NOT touch the toilet."  I hate public restrooms.  I don't care how "clean" the bathroom looks upon arrival, bathrooms are a parents worst nightmare, especially when you have a finger or thumb sucker.  Ugh, I shudder at the thought even now.  Gross!

I was super excited to have the opportunity to try out PottyCover, a disposable toilet seat cover, with my girls and was even waiting for the chance to use a public restroom.  We've been doing a lot of travelling this summer and my constant "I have to go potty" girl, Chloe, was a very eager and useful tester for this product.
PottyCover is a disposable toilet seat cover for children that covers the sides AND the front of the toilet to keep away germs at public rest-rooms.  It's made of non-woven fabric, coated with a layer of plastic, creating a waterproof barrier between the toilet and the child.

If  you have ever tried lining a toilet with the paper toilet seat covers (which cover nothing!) or toilet paper (which keeps falling into the toilet as you try to lift you child onto the seat) you know that they are basically useless barriers and do nothing to keep your child clean.

A pack of PottyCover sells for $5.99 and is available at Amazon, Ebay, all Buy Buy Baby stores and at select Bed Bath & Beyond stores.  Unfortunately it is not available at any of our local Bed Bath & Beyond stores, but I'm a huge Amazon fan, so I was okay with ordering them online (especially since it's also eligible for FREE super saving shipping!).

Because these come individually wrapped we currently have them stored in our diaper bag, in my purse, one in our beach bag and in the seat back of our van!  There are just a few things I wish I could change about this product:

1.  I wish it came with more PottyCovers in a pack.  We visit A LOT of public restrooms!

2.  I wish these were reusable.  I know I wouldn't want to be keeping germy covers in my diaper bag or purse, but this semi-green mommy doesn't like the idea of using once and throwing away such a great product.

(Yes I know my daughter above still has her shorts on in this picture.  Yes we did use this potty seat, I just didn't want her pants-less in the photo).
