#778: Skinny Monkey Oats


Are you looking for a healthy filling breakfast (or snack?).  Here's one that is really easy to make and tastes good.  It tastes even better with added texture like walnuts too, but I wanted peanut flavor without the extra fat or calories so I added 1 tbsp of peanut butter powder instead.  Have you tried powdered peanut butter yet?  No?? Order some and let me know what you think!

1/2 cup old fashioned oats
1/2 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 banana, mashed
1 tbsp powdered peanut butter

Whisk the oats and cocoa powder in a bowl until combined. Add 3/4 cups of water, and microwave on high for 1 1/2 minutes.  Stir the mashed banana and powdered peanut butter into the cooked oats.

This recipe would be 4 ww+ pts for the oatmeal, and an additional .5 pts for the powdered peanut butter.
