#770: Chocolate Avocado Milkshake
I had some avocados going bad on the counter so I was looking for a way to use them up. Then I came across this recipe and I was super excited to try it out. Allison and I loved this recipe. In fact, when I ran back to the grocery store tonight and saw avocados were $1 each, I picked up a few more and froze them in little one-serving size bags for future "milkshakes."
1/2 ripe Hass avocado
2 tbsp. brown sugar (I omitted)
2 tbsp. cocoa powder
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 1/2 c. skim milk (I used Silk Dark Chocolate)
Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor. Blend on high until smooth and serve over ice. Makes 2 servings.
(6 ww+ pts per serving if using brown sugar and silk milk. 4.5 if omitting brown sugar and using silk dark chocolate milk)
